Community Outreach Director

As a local business, Delmar Place is a partner with the Town of Bethlehem and its constituents in providing a safe, connected and vital lifestyle for seniors. As the Director of Community Outreach one of my responsibilities is to collaborate with the community partners to ensure that our residents remain connected to our local community. We take very seriously the responsibility of enriching the lives of not only our residents but the senior population at large. Community Outreach Specialist

My goal as Community Outreach Specialist is to educate and build partnerships in the community with our credo in mind. Resident Care Director

A favorite part of my job is interacting with the residents. I enjoy being involved in their everyday activities. Each of the residents has a story that makes every day a new day. You never know what you are going to learn or encounter. I enjoy developing a strong rapport with the resident’s families and take pride in being able to provide them with a consistent, friendly face.

 

Katrina Higgins

Care Management Director

At Delmar Place, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each resident. My background in Social Work will help ensure that each resident receives the necessary care and services while maintaining their dignity. I look forward to building on the homelike atmosphere that exists and bringing smiles to the faces of our seniors.

 

Kim Thomas

Care Management Director

I join the Delmar Place team with over 18 years of experience in Long Term Care and enjoy reminiscing with residents about their very full, rich lives. Working with seniors and their families is very enjoyable, and I strive to make sure each resident receives the appropriate care and services.

 

Rhonda Ardia-Brown

Quality Assurance

Working with the Resident Care Director to develop, implement and oversee quality assurance programs and activities, I understand the workings of each resident’s care plan. It is my job to ensure that the services provided to our residents meet the quality and standards expected and applied by regulation.

 

Debbie Nichols

Resident Care Supervisor

I am here at Delmar Place because I love the residents. I find it very rewarding to bring comfort and care to each of them. It brings me joy to spend extra time talking and assisting them in their daily lives. My goal is to go out of my way to make them feel special, unique and important to our community.

Activities Director

I believe activities play an integral role in daily life at Delmar Place. My goal is to create an atmosphere that enriches the lives of residents, making them feel happy and satisfied with each day. Activities give each resident a chance to express their own individuality and to have fun!

Working at Delmar Place has been a pleasure since day one. My goal is to provide our residents with the most enjoyable dining experience possible. By striving for perfection, we will continue to maintain a standard of excellence, which is what our residents truly deserve.

As Supervising Chef at Delmar Place, I take pride in the fact that we have a caring, dedicated staff. We consistently strive to prepare and provide quality meals and service for our residents, while maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary work environment.

As a Delmar resident myself for the past 22 years, it is my pleasure to be part of such a beautiful community. It is where I know I will give 200% to what I believe in most: love and care for our beloved elders. Thank you for allowing me to serve you.

Welcome Desk

I greet each resident, family and community member with a ‘welcome home’ that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The best part of what I do is helping our residents ~ attention to the smallest detail sometimes makes the biggest difference!

 

Joan Petri

Housekeeping Director

My team and I have over 50 years experience and have been with Delmar Place since its inception. We want every apartment and resident to look and be the best they possibly can. From sinks to socks, we go the extra mile everyday to make Delmar Place and each resident bright and sparkling clean.

 

Davia Wolcott

Senior Housekeeper

Joan and I have worked together for over 15 years. We joined Delmar Place during it’s construction and helped during the construction “clean-up”. I enjoy the residents because of their friendly nature and willingness to share their interesting lives. Their stories inspire and encourage me.

 

Mike Sand

Facilities Director

Since the first phases of construction, my staff and I have worked toward excellence in all we do. We work year-round to provide a clean, safe, well-maintained building and grounds. The smallest details count when creating a “home” for all residents in our community.

 

Rick Fredette

Transportation Specialist

The safety of our residents is my primary concern. Whether we are on an outing as a group, or moving from one doctor’s appointment to the next, it is my goal to keep each resident safe and comfortable. If you see our Delmar Place van out in the community, please be sure to wave and say “hello”.

 

Nancy Wideman

Hairdresser

Working with the residents at Delmar Place is wonderful. I have 45 years of hairdressing experience and I continue to appreciate that each resident, no matter their age or limitation, still wants to look their very best. The best gift that I can give each one is to help them fulfill the wish to look great each and every day.
